An over-the-counter mouthguard may be catchy with its lower price, however, it can do more harm than good if it isn’t properly fit to your teeth.
We’re proud to offer a variety of custom-fit mouthguards, including thinner versions for sports that aren’t as high contact, and thicker versions for more protection during activities that regularly involve hits or projectiles toward the face and mouth. When you choose our practice for your mouthguard, you’ll also have the ability to customise it’s look, selecting the colour or colours you’d like. We’re proud to let you know that the process for obtaining a mouthguard with us has never been easier. Simply book an appointment and we’ll take moulds of your or your child’s mouth. Then, we’ll send them out to a lab to have the mouthguard created. In just one or two weeks, you can come back to try it on. If everything fits as expected, you can begin wearing it as soon as you’d like.

Absolutely not. There is no pain whatsoever associated with your mouthguard appointment. Your visit with us will be quick and painless. We’ll make sure that wearing your mouthguard is comfortable, too. Once you try it on at your second visit, please let us know if anything feels out of place—we’ll fix it straightaway.
How much does a mouthguard cost?
The typical price of a mouthguard is roughly $200. This price can fluctuate depending on how custom you’d like your colour/colours to be. The style of mouthguard may also impact the final price. We’ll happily go over all pricing options with you before anything is completed or ordered.
How long will my mouthguard last?
For an adult, a custom fit mouthguard should last about two years until a replacement may be needed. For a child whose bite may still be changing, we recommend bringing their mouthguard into their regular checkup appointments every six months so we can reassess if a new one should be ordered.
